きりょう【器量】

1 〔(女性の)顔立ち〕 facial appearance; looks; features; facial beauty.

●器量がいい be pretty [fair, beautiful, lovely, good-looking, attractive]; have good looks

・自分は器量が悪いと思っている. She considers herself unattractive [ugly].

・もう少し器量がよければと思っている. She wishes she were [was] a little prettier.

●十人並みの器量の女 a woman of average beauty

・器量のよい pretty; fair; beautiful; lovely; good-looking; attractive; having good looks

・器量のよくない plain; plain-looking; not having good looks; 《米》 homely
